After visiting Busch Gardens Williamsburg, I headed to my next destination in New Jersey. Driving all the way through the huge metropolitan areas of Washington and Baltimore would probably result in a lot of traffic, so I decided to take the scenic route through Virginia, Maryland and Delaware via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel instead. It was the only toll road I have ever driven on in America and I did not regret a penny of it as it is a very enjoyable route. It was around midnight when I arrived at my hotel. I was offered a very nice room at the Country Inn & Suites, so I had a good night’s sleep before hitting the road again at 7am.
