South Pier South Pier in Blackpool is the southern pier of the city near the Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The Pier was opened in 1893. Like the North Pier and Central Pier, the jetty is operated by the Sedgwick family. It features a collection of fairground rides, a Family Bar and a large amusement arcade.
