There are not many theme parks that are open during the week during the French Easter holidays. Some larger theme parks do not open this early in the year. You can always go to Paris to visit the Disneyland parks, but that was not my intention. So I was very happy that Nigloland in beautiful Champagne had opened its doors. I then stayed for two nights in the Gîte Chez Jo in the small village of Longchamp-sur-Aujon, which I can warmly recommend. The small double room was quite cheap, the gîte with shared kitchen and bathroom very French and the hosts very welcoming. Due to its location, one does absolutely nothing wrong here, although the density of petrol stations in the region almost became my downfall.
