Southsea Common Fun Fair (2018)

It was once again Bank Holiday time and at the time of the Early May Bank Holiday, a funfair was set up on Southsea Common. Most of the rides, such as the Extreme Ride, came from Billy Danter. The ride was operated in a surprisingly varied way compared to Techno Power and without numb feet, the ride is twice as much fun.

The Sizzler, the Waltzer and probably also the Round-Up are from John Charles Matthews, who is responsible for the fair. All in all, there was a lot on offer here on the green meadow, although this could certainly be extended even further (after all, a large German funfair could easily be set up here). To my own surprise, there was even a real count. The runaway train was provided by Brandon Connell.

With a fantastic view towards Gunwharf Quays and Portsmouth, I treated myself to a fun ride on the KMG Speed to finish off my visit to the Southsea Common Fun Fair.
