Movieland Park right next to Lake Garda (just a few kilometers down the road of the Gardaland Resort) is one of the greatest theme parks in Italy and Europe. The park is part of the Canevaworld Resort, run by the Amicabile family.
The theme park features a lot of movie based attractions, shows and entertainment. Although, some of the used licences are rather old, the attractions themselves are top notch, e.g. the special effects rides Magma 2.1 and U-571 or the insane jet boat ride Kitt Superjet. Movieland Park offers a lot of family-friendly activities for the whole family and is absolutely worth a visit.
Fun Fact: During the summer months you can buy combined tickets with the extraordinary water park Caneva Aquapark. If you plan a slightly longer stay at Lake Garda, the 1 week/2 parks option offers a great deal.
