SeaWorld San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas is the youngest of the American SeaWorld Parks. The park was founded in 1988 and is famous for its marine animal shows. On an area of 100 hectares, the animal and leisure park offers a manageable number of rides and other attractions.

The park was built in 1992 on the site of a former quarry and is home to many family-friendly rides and a large number of breathtaking roller coasters. Fun Fact #1: Six Flags Fiesta Texas is the group’s third theme park in Texas. However, the park was built and planned by the Gaylord Entertainment Company. However, it was not until 1998 that the park became the group’s property.
Fun Fact #2: The wooden roller coaster Rattler was famous for its strongly swinging support structure. After the conversion to Iron Rattler, this is no longer visible.
Fun Fact #3: In the early years you could roller skate in the park. Later, the Scooby Doo Ghostblasters dark ride was built on the same location.
Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas is one of the biggest amusement parks in the US. Founded in 1961, the amusement park is the starting point for the largest amusement park chain in the world: Six Flags. But the amusement park is not only historically significant from an economic point of view. Over the years, Six Flags Over Texas has shaped several types of amusement rides and roller coasters. For example, the log flume and the Mine Train are inventions from Six Flags.

Fun Fact #1: The El Aserradero is the world’s first log flume. Due to its popularity it was extended by a second track a few years after its premiere.
Fun Fact #2: In order to prevent the arms of the New Texas Giant roller coaster from extending out as far as possible due to the narrow clearance profile, the train built by Gerstlauer has Plexiglas panes on the sides.
Fun Fact #3: The theme park can be played in the computer game Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 as a scenario.
