Aqualandia is one of the largest water parks in Spain. The park high above Benidorm opened its gates in 1985. As the first park of its kind in the country, Aqualandia has acted as a reference for all Spanish water parks ever since. The water park features a high number of top notch water slides.

Rulantica close to Rust, Baden-Württemberg is the second gate park of the Europa Park Resort. The water park opened its doors in 2019 and has seen rapid expansion ever since. Nowadays, Rulantica is one of the most comprehensive water parks in Europe featuring all kind of slides usually only seen in water parks abroad.

Fun Fact: The mascot Snorri first appeared in his own ride at Europa Park.

The Little Prince and the Thunder Stone

Pierre du Tonnerre

The small roller coaster Pierre du Tonnerre is the third major addition since the park opened in 2014. The ride by Reverchon features a very gentle layout with smaller dips and drops. Like its sister installation at Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris, the spinning of the cars make the ride quite enjoyable.

Atlantique Sud

During my last visit to Parc du Petit Prince, the log flume Atlantique Sud was still under construction. The ride features a simple layout with a very nice chute as its finale. It is always nice when a park invests into a new flume ride and as expected on a hot summer day, the ride featured the longest queue within the park – its a crowd pleaser par excellence.
