MirabilandiaMirabilandia located in Savio nearby the city of Ravenna is one of the biggest theme parks in Italy. The park was founded by a group of Italian investors and opened in 1992. As the operating company was on the verge of bankruptcy in 1996, they sold the park in late-fall of that year to the Löffelhardt-Casoli Group, a joint venture between Phantasialand co-founder Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Giancarlo Casoli, one of the owners of the former Italian amusement ride manufacturer S.D.C., who massively expanded the park in the following years. As a result, the number of visitors also grew to over 1.5 million. After a few years, Löffelhardt withdrew from the business and Casoli took over the patronage, before the park was sold to the Spanish group Parques Reunidos in 2006.

Mirabilandia offers a large number of family-friendly rides and attractions, as well as a bunch of world class roller coasters, such as the Blitz Coaster iSpeed or the Inverted Coaster Katun.

Fun Fact: The stunt driver team of Mirabilandia is also responsible for the stunt shows at the sister parks Movie Park Germany and Parque Warner Madrid.
