Epcot in Bay Lake, Florida, is one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. Opened in 1982, the park was inspired by Walt Disney’s vision of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. While the original concept envisioned a functioning city of the future, EPCOT evolved into a theme park celebrating innovation, technology and cultures from around the world.
Today, EPCOT is divided into several themed neighborhoods that combine futuristic attractions with the international pavilions of World Showcase. Signature attractions include Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Spaceship Earth, Soarin’ Around the World and Test Track.
