Lodging at the Hotel Antonella

In the course of the tour planning we thought to book a package deal via the Rainbow Magicland site, but as this site was not international and therefore a booking was only possible for Italian citizens, we booked a hotel and theme park package via the theme park Zoomarine. The journey to the Hotel Antonella in nearby Pomezia turned out to be a bit more difficult due to closed roads, but the stay at the 4* Superior Hotel was a welcome surprise. In addition, we treated ourselves to the best dinner of the tour and for a little more than 20€ we got a high-quality 3-course menu with pasta, steak and delicious sorbet and ice cream creations.

Overnight stay in Ravenna

As I already had good experiences with Travel Parks – the travel agency of the Spanish amusement park group Parques Reunidos – on my last year’s trip to Madrid, I decided to book a package deal for the visit of the amusement park Mirabilandia as well. For about 90€ we got a B&B Hotel near Ravenna; a good deal just in connection with the two tickets to Mirabilandia and the overnight stay in a satisfactory 3* hotel and the breakfast buffet in the morning.

A night opposite Movieland Park

Less than 3 km from Gardaland you will find the Movieland Park and Canevaworld Resort, the direct competition in terms of fun. Opposite it is the Maison du Port, a small B&B with very nice staff and fair prices. Although it is ideally located for us, it is far away from the rest and should not be booked unless you have a car with you. In the village of Pacengo, about 1 km from the hotel, you can eat very well for a small price; however, you should give advance notice at the recommended osteria; the pizzeria opposite was not bad either.
