As nobody wanted to spend a whole year abroad, my university (HAW Hamburg) had a lot of free spaces for the Erasmus exchange program at the University of Portsmouth. It was one of the last years of this cooperation, as nobody from Portsmouth wanted to go to Germany in return. Nevertheless, I took my chance and had a great time on the Solent.
