Together with my dad, I wanted to take a bicycle ride from Dover to Land’s End. We had a great first day in Kent along the cliffs, before cycling through some beautiful villages, magnificent sea side towns and a great landscape. We stopped for a night in Rye, East Sussex. The next day was far more challenging, as we now had to take one hill after the other. Once we finally reached Hastings, we then encountered a new enemy: wind. We gave up shortly thereafter, as we simply did not advanced at all. We decided to spent the rest of our holiday in our holiday home in Spain instead. Yet, I actually enjoyed cycling through Britain quite a lot and would come probably back for a second time.
