Carnaval and Northern Germany doesn’t work, or does it? Although, we normally don’t celebrate Carnaval, there are a lot of small villages which actually do. One of them is Fliegenberg, a small village right next to the river Elbe. During this time, everybody of the village is celebrating together, which also involves a lot of drinks. If you want to visit the Faslam, you should be aware that parking can be a problem, as everybody from the surrounding villages is also attending.
